ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment that I am proud of is making the volleyball team in September. Giovanna helped accomplish this because she forced me to try out. I never did volleyball and she wanted me to do it with her so when I got the email that said I made the team I was shocked. Thanks Giovanna
ReplyDeleteSo the last few months have been a total change from the past few years. It was weird walking into a new school not knowing anyone except my sister and some upper class men from softball. I didn't think I was going to do well here because I personally didn't think I was good at making friends. On the first week of classes I met a group of girls that had already knew each other and they welcomed me into their group immediately. They were the type of friends I needed. People who wouldn't shut me out for the way I looked or what I do. That made me rethink how I originally thought the year would be. The accomplishments I am most proud of so far was winning Song Contest leader and getting all good, high grades on my report card despite being out for two week with a really bad medical issue. The people I want to thank for my success as leader is Nicole and Giovanna. Without either of them I probably would've lost my mind due to all the stress I was under from the teacher. As for my grades, I want to thank my mom who helped me get back on my feet after being sick and I want to thank my classmates for helping me understand everything I missed. I'm also very thankful for the group of friends I have, Brooke, Giovanna, Eileen, Julia and anyone else I forgot.
ReplyDeleteAn accomplishment I'm proud of is making the JV Volleyball team. From there, I have made so many friends which I am grateful for. I'm also grateful for the friends I have made in this school.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for making it to Mid Atlantic Regional Oireachtas, a dance competition in Philadelphia with my mom helping me get ready for months until the competitions.
ReplyDeleteOne accomnplishment that I am proud of is doing well on my first quarter report card in high school. I didn't expect do to as good as I did if I am being honest, so it felt really good to recieve those grades. One person that has helped me accomplish this is my mother. If it wasn't for her constantly pushing me to do my work or study for that test, I don't think I would be where I am now. I am so grateful to have someone like her in my life that keeps encouraging me to do my best.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment that I have gone through is when I was being able to learn how to bake. It's not a large or big accomplishment, I know, but it's still something special to me. Before, I never really helped with cooking because I was never interested with it, plus whenever I had to do it, I was no good when I was with my father ( who now usually cooks ) but when both my parents had to leave early for work during the summer, my mother showed me how to cook. Starting small of course, like making scrambled eggs. But soon it turned into me helping my dad cook lunch and dinner everyday, and now I'm able to catch up with how quick my dad cooks. Learning new recipes everyday.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my older sister because she's always been there for me to talk to when things go on and she always listens to what I have to say even if I don't always listen to her. She has become sort of an inspiration to me because of how much she does and how much things she is a part of. She's proud of even the small things I accomplish and helps me out when it's needed. She helped me accomplish me getting homework done and helping me study for test. I appreciate all the things she does and I'm thankful she's really been there for me since day 1.
ReplyDeleteAn accomplishment that I am proud of is having good grades in the first quarter report card. I did better than I thought I would because while I was getting used to the school, I received some not so good grades. I was surprised that I did so well despite the grades that I got that were unsatisfactory in my standards. I am thankful for my mother and sister, who helped keep me calm throughout all the stress that I was going through. I think I would have lost my mind if not for them.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment that I'm proud of is getting good grades on my first high school report card. My mom has helped me adjust to going to high school. She drives me to school in the morning so I won't get to school late and picks me up so I get home at a decent time to start my homework. I'm very thankful for her.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment that I am proud of is getting good grades in the first quarter of school. I was really nervous for the start of high school.I didn't know how the adjustment would affect me. I did better than I expected I would and I am so thankful for my parents who have supported me through these first couple months of high school. Because of my parents support I have done better in school and they have helped me adjust for the first few months of high school.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment I'm proud of is having a good start to high school. Going to a new school where I don't know anyone made me very anxious. But I ended up making friends and was able to adjust here. I'm thankful for my cousin who guided me through the first few months of high school.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment I'm proud of is being able starting of the school year with acceptable grades. I had a lot of doubts and I was very nervous as well as stressed about most of the subjects in school. However, my mother had supported and understood my side of the spectrum, and I'm very thankful for that.
