New Year, New You?

Welcome back. Happy New Year. People typically like to take the opportunity to reevaluate some bad habits and try to correct them around this time of year. For our first post of the New Year lets share a few resolutions you are committing to making or discuss how it may have went for you in the past. Are you able to stay committed to a resolution you make with yourself? Or what would you like to change about yourself and how can you?

  1. Some resolutions I made were to be more productive and organized with my school work. I want to finish my work on time, while still having time to relax. I am able to commit to this resolution, and have been consistent in my resolution so far.

  2. In 2020 I wanted to become a better version of myself. I want to be more focused on school work this year. I don't think that I can officially call this successful yet but I am getting a tiny bit more organized along the lines of my work and when I do it. I still have to change a lot about how I do my work but I think that this will take a while for me to get used to.

  4. Some of my New Year's resolutions are to focus more on my school work and try not to procrastinate. I typically wait until two days or the night before a test to study and I would like this year to be different. I would like to get ahead with my homework. For example, I know that we have global outlines coming up, so if I have free time, I will do them so that I won't be overwhelmed when I do my other work. I would also like to focus more on me. I usually tend to not get that much sleep and I would like to feel more well rested. I also want to eat healthier, exercise more, and drink more water during the new year because I am always dehydrated.

  5. In 2020 I want to focus on getting better grades. Now that my sport is ending in January I can focus on studying. School is going to be my main priority. Since midterms are coming up I want to be prepared to take all of the tests and pass them. I hope that I can stay committed to my resolution and work hard to achieve my goal.

  6. In 2020, I want to stop procrastinating, do well in school and learn how to multitask. If I stop procrastinating, I can get things done faster and efficiently. Also, I'll have more free time to relax and sleep. I want to get good grades, especially since Midterms are coming up. Also, I want to do better on tests and study harder. I need to learn how to multitask because I have Track in February, so I need to balance Track with my school work. I hope that I can be committed to my new resolutions and achieve each and everyone one of them.

  8. In 2020, I want to work on my procrastination problem. During majority of 2019, I found myself struggling with managing my time. This was a major issue and something I intend on fixing this year. Normally, my resolution don't always stay true, and I do tend to give up on them before the year even gets fully started. This year I'm really going to push myself to try to stick to the task and get my time managing skills back to how they should be.

  9. In 2020, I want to improve my time management. I tend to procrastinate on a lot of tasks. This year, I'm going to actually make an effort to finish stuff on time. If I fix this issue, I'll be able to sleep early and to be ready for the next day.

  11. In 2020, I would wish to stop procrastinating, get better grades and study more. This is because my procrastination leads to me having to go to bad at 3'o clock in the morning, due to the fact that I leave all my work to complete the day before I have to submit. This unhealthy habit may affect my grades later on in the future, therefore I would like to stop procrastinating in order to improve my grades as well as my focus.

  12. In 2020, I would like to improve on my procrastination and on what time I go to sleep. When I procrastinate I have to go to sleep later than usual, because I wait until last minute to do my work.Even though I do finish all of my homework, going to sleep earlier can help me focus more in class.Going to sleep earlier can also improve my grades.I hope I can improve on this unhealthy habit in 2020, by doing homework earlier so I can go to sleep earlier, which will improve my focus, grades, and my health.
